1986 309D viscous fan removal

Can anyone help on how to remove a viscous fan from a 309D built in 1986. There are no bolts on the front, and I cant see how to remove it from the rear. The fan hub is BEHR. There is a bimetal strip covering a small brass button on the front.

My WIS CD and a printed Russek manual has nothing to offer.

Thanks in advance

From memory, there should be a 6mm allen bolt in the centre of the fan, best to use an air gun, you really dont want to round off the bolt. One short sharp blast from the air gun normally does it.
