fuel filter change
i purchased a new fuel filter for our 07 winnebago view built on a dodge sprinter van chasis with a 2006 mercedes 2.7 ltr engine. i am new to this group and don"t know if I'm in the right forum, but need advice as I am only familar with yanmar and volvo marine diesels using a manual fuel valve and manual pump for bleeding after changing spin on filters. appreciate any help or redirection
Try to fill the filter up with clean diesel before fitting it as this will give the engine a quick start, it should keep going, if not just crank the engine until it starts, no more than 20 second cranking as the s/motor gets a bit warm.
