| question from newbie re 2002
Hi guys, I'm visiting fro the w126 side of the forums. I dearly love my cummins diesel Dodge pickup, but at 499,000 miles I have really been looking at a replacement vehicle for my construction work. The sprinter seems perfect in every sense except the parking structure situation, which I can work around. I hope.
My question is about a 2002 freightliner(dodge) sprinter, 3/4 ton, that I saw for sale driving by a furniture store the other day. One owner, 135,000 miles, used in a now closed furniture business they had in Vegas. I heard it run, the engine is super clean, (although I noticed the two top clips from the radiator are missing), interior is perfect. I will drive it and check it out further if you guys think $16000.00 isn't too unreasonable. I get the impression they will bargain on $
Are there inherent problems with this generation of sprinter that I should know about? What do you guys think? I would appreciate any input, of course. thanks! Brad |
