Power enhancement by displacement enlargement 4.4 by use of a special crank shaft and enlarged bore with appropriate pistons. The suction and the outlet section of the cylinder head is flow-optimized and finetuned with two special camshafts according to the displacement. Furthermore larger valves are used. The modification is completed by a back pressure lowering metal-catalytic converter (four monoliths with a full OBD II suitability).

A pilot I know uses his as a rolling "crash pad" and stays in it in the airport parking lot the night before a trip. Says he gets 25mpg in his with a diesel and it makes a hell of a camper. He's talking about getting some seats from some VW to put in it since he said to remove the MB seats is a pain and they weigh a ton.
