hope someone can help i have a 311 cdi 2000 model which sometimes runs ok and sometimes very underpowered when its running at normal operating temperature i booked it in at the dealers but on that day it was fine and they couldnt fix it someone told me it was the egr valve so i changed it but still the same but recently ive noticed a rattling from engine when driving but it wont happen when stationary it doesnt sound mechanical like tappets etc its more like a pinking fueling problem i would just guess at the injectors only i replaced them 13000 miles ago and hoped theyed last a bit longer than that
