EDC Sprinter 1997 lost of power

Hi all,
I have a MB Sprinter 312 D 1997 lost power max 3600 rpm and 80 km/h

EDC light on

Bosch EDC 1.4 error code 1350 & 1402

Have changest this 2 idems to new parts but still not working

on the magnetic valve in pump i only have about 3.8 volt when motor is running no changes on rpm high/low

the exurst valv have 12 volt ond ( click) ok open for vacum

Have clean all connecters from bosch EDC unit
Any idea what can be wrong ?

hI ALL ,

--i have found the error , 15 amp fuse under driver seat was defect

this is for power to bosch edc pump when i put a new in it broke when i turn on egnic
then I´LL disconectet the connecter to pump and put in a new fuse turn on egnic, fuse was ok then connect the pump conector again an started the motor still EDC light on
but when clonch ( kobling) was aktivatet the light went off
now all tings are okay again ...

Yes it is , I look for the error on this forum but can only find ? no real results about how to find or fix it

I was happy when i found my error, so why not share the info a hope it can help others to this error is common on sprinter 312 D and most of times we just get a new pump but it cost ...

Hi all - I have just joined this forum so I will kill 2 birds with one stone - I have a 1997 Sprinter 312D LWB (converted to into a sleeper/dog transit vehicle so I can transport my sled dog racing team around the country.)

My van seems to have devoloped a simialr problem to what (i think) has been described above. The EDC light has come on, I have lost power and revs and there is a clunking noise coming from what feels like an exhaust off its hanger (but the exhaust all seems in order). I saw the above thread and looked under the seat at the fuses and sure enough the fuse had blown, I have replaced it, but now what to I do as the light is still on the problems persist?
