05 316cdi van starting problems

my work place owns a 2005 mercedes 316 cdi van, it has this problem with starting sometimes when cold. when the key is turned to start poisson all the dummy lights come on like they should but the a/c fan turns on. and if the fan turns on the van will not start. If the fan comes on, the glow plug light remains on. If I put an electric heater in the cab for some time (depending on ambient temperature) I will turn the key on, after a few seconds the glow plug light goes out and the sprinter starts normally; but after the van sits after a night it will do the same thing. does this make sense to any one. is there some type of sensor for the glow plugs or a/c fan sending the wrong temp to the glow or a/c to cool or ???? When it acts up, I get a P1482, P1610 and P2134 codes.(2 glow plug, 1 engine control relay) I put in a known good engine control relay with no change. any ideas

Red face 313 CDI 2001 - bouncing revs whilst accel. now wont start?

My 2001 Merc Sprinter 313CDi is losing Revs whilst accelerating through 3rd to 5th gears - before its service it would cut out on the motorway whilst at high speed. AA suggested a fuel filter change. Mileage is 103000.
I have just had the van put in for a service and had a faulty Injector replaced, as well as all the glow plugs and fuel filter.
Now when I am in 3rd to 5th gears whilst accelerating, the revs will drop to about 2000rpm and then slowly go back up to around 3000.
I got home and reversed onto my drive and the van stalled and the EDC light came on and the engine will turn over but not fire???
It was serviced at an MB garage (something I am beginning to regret now).

any help would be great.

(Code reader recognises it as a Vito 639)
Codes are P1188 / P1470 / P1481
Van is in permanent limp. I'm reading From the ECU plug....
14 ohm towards the (new) boost sensor
26.2 ohm towards the 3rd piston cut off solonoid
Not checked glow plugs as surley this wouldn't cause limp would it?

Any ideas? Thanks
