2009 R350

Damn!!
This forum is very usable for me so far-I didn't know that R series doesn't offer Xenon lights at all-at least there's an after market option-but doesn't it void warranty? I still love the car and planning to get it. I understand there's no headlights washing system nor lights curving system.
One thing that really makes me sad is the lack of leather option-only MB-tex. and if you guys don't mind-auto dimming mirrors-do all of them dim or just rear view and driver's?

Thanks in advance

Incorrect, I have an 06 R500 with factory adaptive ("curve sensing" as you mentioned) Bi-xenons with washers. Not sure where you got that info.

The R-Class has the bi-xenon as a stand alone option and it includes the corner iluminating fog lamps and head light washer (heated)

I opted for that and the difference is huge compared to the halogen head lamps.

The aftermarket sets provide better light than the halogen but the oem bi-xenon have a better cut off, and no glare from áll the "crom" in the head light + you get the xenon highbeam, but as mentioned the aftermarket hid are far superior to the standard haolgen lights...

Yeah, these are by far the most extreme/brightest/obnoxious high beams I've ever seen on a vehicle. It literally looks like you have turned on the sun in front of the car when they are on. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of these but it sure is great when traveling down a completely black stretch of road.
