These spyshots of what appears to be a very light facelift of the '09 R Class are the most tangible proof yet that Mercedes appears to be sticking with the R Class for the near future. The "B Class" photo which was referenced as an example of what the facelifted R Class is going to resemble shows how subtle a change it will be, but the fact that Mercedes would go to the time, effort and expense to make any change to the R Class is a positive one.
The persistent rumors of the death of the R Class appear to be exaggerated!
They face-lifted the 2 door Ford Escort car that looked like a frog, did not save it (what was that called, zx2). Just kiddin....
Good sign of a bit more life in the R-class.
