Hi all,

I need your help.

I have an issue with the 3rd row windows, they open electrically from the drivers side.

If I open the windows they open, normal.

Then I press close, and the windows close, normal.

Then if I press close again the windows will open, not normal

I think.

Had the car in for other warranty issues and the dealer told me that it is normal

I have never had a car that when you press close (windows) that they will open

.

Could you please cehck you R-Class, or GL I think that they have the same issue.

Still love the car but my issues in 2 weeks ownership made me think if I should have went with a Q7 instead.

Just tried it tonight 2008R320 and yes, same here on my 2008 R350. Press OPEN 3rd row window, it opens. Press CLOSE, it closes. Then press CLOSE again and it OPENS, strange. Pressing the CLOSE button should never OPEN the windows but it does when done in that order

2007 - R350. I just tried the test and my car doesn't have the problem.

Nope don't have that "feature" on my '06 R350. I can however stop the rear windows at any position (open/closed) by touching the same button again while they are opening/closing. Should be std. on all R's.

It seams like it is a "safety" feature from 2008 models.
I can aswell stop the windows by pushing the open button again.
