clunk noise when rear windows roll down

has anyone here experienced a clunking noise when the rear power windows go all the way down? or all the way up for that matter? It only seems to do it when starting from either 100% closed or 100% open. The sound comes at the end, when it reaches either the top or the bottom.

I checked both front and rear windows, both up and down, 100% open and closed. Mine have NO noise.

Mine does that when you open the windows for the first time. Then it is OK. It happens every few hours but only the first time... Weird. Any solutions???

Mine's been doing that but never really bothered about it. It'll be going in for a service soon so will get it checked out then.

yeah, mine does it too. I guess I better bring it to the dealer for service.
Good thing somebody brought it up here because I rarely open the windows and almost

My 2006 R500 Passenger side rear window does the hard hit noise just when it gets completly down. It started doing this just recently only.

Thanks for the service bulletin. I will pay a visit to dealer.

Does the dealer replacesthe LIMIT STOPs on ALL doors or just the ones that are effected? Can we request the dealer to replace ALL even thoug some windows are OK?

You only have two rear door windows and the bulletin covers a range of VIN numbers indicating the parts are defective.
