when people ask what i drive, i tell them an overpriced minivan.....what are you going to call it?? a crossover? a luxury people hauler?
Call it a Grand Tourer - I have I have seen that in Mercedes literature - And I think it fits as it is a GREAT road car. Oh, and mine has never been called a minivan. It is also refered to in other Mercedes Literature as an SUV, and as a truck!
I have more people asked me if it is the same as the Chrysler Pacifica.
Anyway, we did replace our Chrysler Minivan with the R because we don't really need the third row plus my wife refused to drive the minivan. Wouldn't it be cool to have a sliding rear door.

Not a minivan, I like 'em, and folks around here ask me which one I like best, R Class is my favorite. Some people also say it looks like a hurst (sp?) Grand Sport Tourer is what I think it is, or I'll just call it a non traditional wagon.
