I have a R320 cdi and i updated my command aps 50 to command dvd nagigation model Model # BE6095 Part # A2518200979 (europe model). Meanwhile i bought the module gps dvd rom from the E class because the head unit ask for put the navi dvd in the trunk. Can you guys tell witch is the wright gps module for this command dvd.
Ps: Is there available the engeneering codes for Rclass?

That is what my mercedes parts told me, and he said that it accopolates in the unit, i only need a confirmation because there is only 2 models of command for the Rclass.
Additional information:
I went today to Mercedes and problem was with the DVD it as to be the w251 DVD europe. Problem solved.
The only thing we have to wait is for the unlock codes.

Hi,
I have just recently purchased a R 320 CDI that I will take back with me to european in 2010. I have been told that the GPS and radio will not function over there and I will need to replace the whole comand system for something like 4000 euros !!! Do you have any clues or ideas on how to solve this problem?

I think that the only issue you will have is the DVD with european map.
The radio issue might as i understand only be that you can't get the even # after the dot e.g. 100.2 as in US most radios only goes .1 .3 .5 .7 .9 and in europe 0.1 0.2 0.3 0.4 etc.
