9000 GBP dealer discount on any new R - Benzworld.org

Hi Everyone,

I see that UK dealers are now offering a 9000pound dealer contribution on any R class until the end of June on existing stock.

Personally; I am glad that the R class has been such a flop in Europe - it's meant I have got a real bargain!

Just ordered an R320 for my wife yesterday from my local dealer.

List Price with options £49000, got it for £38700 and got a good price for the C320 trade in, so I am reasonably happy. Dealer said there is a £5000 registration bonus from MB on cars currently in the UK, plus they gave me about 8.5% discount. I also purchased an ML320 in March and managed to get 8% discount on that too.

They are still way too expensive in the UK, the same spec car can be bought in the US for less than £30000; RIP-OFF BRITAIN at its best again.

Even over here in Oz, I got about $10k off without any haggling. Though 9000pounds is about $21k over here!
