Water leaking into '06 R-class

Has anyone experienced rain water leaking into passenger side under the hood ?

I was driving in the rain for the first time and I saw water leaking in to the passenger area . I can believe a new $50 K car have such an obvious flaw.
I am taking my car to the dealer tomorrow and will share my experience.

ubvelieveable...... please share us the root cause. did the rain leak through the sky-window or somewhere else
