Since my R looks exactly like yours there is no point of posting mine. Now I wish someone can make a clear side markers for our R.

I am about to place an order for a 2008 R class. I am debating between Iridium Silver and Pewter. It appears that you have a car in each color. I would appreciate any opinions "pro" or "con" you would have on the R Class in each color.

Another go with this reply! No doubt 2 will appear.

The SL is pewter so went with carneol red which is a nice change. Pity it wasn't sunny when these were taken as it's a fabulous colour.

If I had to do it again, I would go with either black or white for the R-Class. The Pewter is ok, especially with the special Alcantara interior, but it seems to me that black and white makes it look less minivan(ish)

Although, dirt shows up much less on the Pewter than both white or black. Or silver for that matter.

my .02 since you asked.

I've had both black and white and their both a nightmare keeping clean.
Black looks great for about 5 mins after it's cleaned but to me white never really looks that shiny. Pewter is very good at masking the dirt as you don't realise how dirty it is until you wash it!

I agreed. You don't get the same satisfaction after waxing a white car as to dark color cars. I like the Carneol Red but I told my wife I won't spend too much time on cleaning her car so we picked the Pewter instead. The dealer has been washing her car for the past 4 months.
