"Streaks" on Backup Camera Nav Screen

I am noticing one or two "vertical streaks" on the Nav Screen when the backup camera image is on. I am confident that this is caused by backing the vehicle up directly into a bright sun but it also occurs even when the sun is behind the vehicle but higher in the sky. Is this the curse of living in California? : )

I previously had an Acura MDX with the backup camera and never encountered this problem.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Have you cleaned the lens on the camera?

the best thing is - check with the dealer. Let them see that this is not normal.

yes, i have same exact issue. i live in norcal. friend's lexus rx and deanli don't do this.
