New '06 R350 owner. Need advice or comment on the following:
Winter floor mats - Hexomat, MacNeil or the Benz OEM? Particuliarly am needing a strip mat across the 2nd row seats, rather than individual mats for each seat. Would prefer all three rows to be the same manufacturer, but not an absolute. Not much out there and wondered if anyone has a set or preference they like so far. Had the MacNeil in my old Audi, and they were decent but the hexomat look a bit cleaner for long term wear.
iPod aux cable - anyone have one of these yet in their R. I have the 1/8" aux jack in my glove box and can't seem to get to the bottom of this with a part number. Scanned and searched the audio forum and maybe I am just confused with the semantics of the "integration kit" versus the simple looking aux cable from the jack to the iPod. I must be searching for the wrong thing since I can't find much on what should be a simple cable connector.
Hitch mount (for bike carrier) - not real keen on the OEM solution for the roof - was wanting to know if anyone had a Draw Tite hitch installed and how the rear pan cutting went to make the clearance for the hitch to poke thru.
Extended warranty - since this was a year one model, I am usually pretty keen on an extended warranty. Wondered if there are any dealer deals out there on the warranty pricing.
I have learned a lot reading the forums so far and may have missed a thing or two here or there, so I will apologize in advance if I am redundant on an issue.

Are you saying the Ipod integration kit does not include the interfact cable to your Ipod?
Or are you talking about a cable with 1/8 " stereo jacks to connect to the audio output of any MP# player or other audio device?
If the latter, try Radio Shack. For the former, I am interested in your response, as my new R320 is ordered with the Ipod Integration Kit.
The factory/dealer install for iPOD goes as far as the little 1/8th" jack in the glovebox. That part is already done. What goes in that jack looks like what you find at the end of a headphone jack. On the other business end of the cable is the iPod connector looking rather flat and wide.
This cable from the glovebox jack to the iPod directly....that's the cable I am seeking :-) I'll keep checking and will report back if something works or if I am uniquely challenged and destined for a trip on the short yellow forum bus...
Thanks to "New R Class Owner" since that was a different site I hadnt found that has the mats that should work. I'd still like to hear if anyone has an opinion on one or the other since you really dont know what you area getting until you get them.
