Wow...$16K off MSRP! I think you're the front runner in this forum at that discount. Are you in the business?

You'll find the "power factor" to be a matter of opinion here. For me this GST has adequate performance for my sytle of driving when behind the wheel. Have you tried the finger shifters to downshift when needed? Helps me when I'm going uphill and passing.

As for the "FORD factor", not too sure what's happening there. Never the less, you negotiated one heck of a deal. Congrats and enjoy the ride!

I believe the poster is full of shit. I don't care if he is a "leasing consultant".

$16k off list is $12k below invoice. With the $5k incentive from MB, that is still
$7k under "dealer cost".

Either he is an employee of MBUSA, or bought a demo. I still think he is a flamer.

I assure you that he will not reveal where he bought his vehicle.

Hey, 'leasing consultant'? Care to prove me wrong?

It is possible if he is an executive of some company on the MB fleet list. There is additional $5000 discount from MB directly.

With an MSRP of $60,000

The markup in this car in around $4.5k
The MB dealer incentive is $5K
Dealer holdback on this car is around 3% or $1,800
Plus fleet discount of $5k

Total is $16.3 off sticker but id be very suprised to see a dealer who would give all that away to make $300 on a car. Dealers almost never, ever give up their holdback. So it is possible but how likely it is id have to wonder myself.

the best deal I get so far is MSRP-10,500-$5000 Executive Fleet bonus. However, that dealership doesn't have the car I want on the lot.
Check out his MB link and it actually stated the $5,000 bonus:

I certainly learned something from your post!! I hope the others who jumped to conclusions did also! I had no idea that an "Executive Fleet Discount" even existed. Live and learn. I currently have 7 cars (1992 Ferrari Mondial, 1993 Bentley Brooklands, 1966 Lincoln Convertible, 2000 BMW 528it, 2001 Toyota Landcruiser, 2005 Jaguar x-type, and 2006 Porsche C-4 Cabriolet), so I thought I might qualify under "fleet," but the minimum is 15 cars in service or 5 purchased within a year. Oh well. It was worth trying. I am currently looking to do a 24 or 27 month one payment lease on a lightly equipped R500 (list about $60K). So far, the best that I have found has been about $10,600 off list and about $11,500 including tax and registration in Southern California. Where did you get your vehicle, if I can ask? Thanks!!
