Speed Sensitive Steering not bump friendly and dangerous in comfort mode.

In comfort mode, steering is too soft that you can actually feel bumps on your steering. Sometime on some bumps, the steering feel the bump so badly that it turn automatically and becomes very difficult to handle.

This heppens in all three modes (Auto, Comfort, Sport) but sport mode is more managebale. Auto mode is totally unpredictable, sometime becomes too soft and sometime becomes OK.

I dont know wether I am the only one feeling that or it is the Quality of MB now. I explained it to MB service, they test drive it but said the steering is perfectly ok. Is this the engineering of MB now that they cannot feel the problem. I have Audi A6 and it has speed sensitive steering as well. I can feel the difference. Audi Steering is super-Steering and can handle all actions very precisely and never had this problem on that. You can actually leave the steerign un-attentive for a while and it will not cause any direction changes to your car.

The Embarasement I got from my wife is I got chrysler minivan on rent over the weekend to pick by Plasma, my wife and I was amazed that its steering was 100% far far better than my 67K R350. More managebale and more controlable. My wife told me that can we trade-in this with chrysler? She do not feel safe in MB R 350.
