Why do some R-Class Benz has "4-MATIC" Emblem and some don't?
Mine came without it, but I know the vehicle has 4-matic. What gives?

I have seen the latest deliveries of the R-calss, for example, have the 4-matic on them.

4matic
4matic is Mercedes version of all wheel drive and 4 wheel electronic traction. I just got an R350 last week, no emblem, but the car has been on the lot for a few months. It's my understanding that all new deliveries from the factory have the emblem now.

I just got back from Mercedes dealer and they told me that all the R-class have 4-matic, but they just started putting the embelms on the car...

I had mine delivered Memorial Day Weekend. It has a production date of 04/2006 and it has the 4matic badge.

They started back in January. While I was in Detroit I was told it was something new they were adding. All ML's, R's & GL's will come with it.
