Yes, I picked up my r350 on Monday.... fairly loaded....
Premium Phg
Sirius
Ipod
2nd row center console
Parktronic
Multi Contour Seats
Comfort Pkg
Airmatic
the ipod integration is key... also Sirius... the sound system is fine ( for an OEM system).... the NAV is better than the NAV in the E class.... a few updates... ie, you can dial in a businesses phone number ( and if they are in the DVDs database) the address pops up and starts the Navigation... so that is easier than typing in the whole address.
The doors are large and make you very aware of their size each time you open them....
Very happy with it..... also, it has more than enough power to handle all the hills.... if you shift manually, the car really takes off.....
It really is very close to driving a car... there is no suv that I'd rather have... except perhaps a Longer Wheel based Cayenne S ( but that doesn't exist) with airmatic.
Feel kind of like a show off driving it around.... cuz it stands out... gets lots of attention.... Parktronic is a must...
If you need the space I would get it... otherwise, if an ML500 WITH AIRMATIC works for you, I'd recommend that as well.
I have a feeling BMWs V series is going to be awesome... they were last with the SUV... and they topped the M Class.... They will attempt to do the same here.
Am I getting something wrong about this whole idea of leasing? Can you - in the US, I mean - enter into a 3-year leasing agreement without having bulletproof insurance?? I don't think so.
As far as I can see, the only problem could be with your wife, if this mishap occurred in a "dubious" neighborhood.
But then again, you always learn new things....
Cheers, and good luck with the storytelling [:D]
