Hello gang, I am new to the site. In regards to the DVD entertainment system...I replaced the factory headsets with ML style headsets with 7 inch TV's in each with one. Thus, a total of 4 TV's and 2 DVD players built into the screen. This allows for each row of seats to watch 2 seperate movies allowing for sound to go through the wireless headsets or through the radio. The radio can be tuned to an FM frequency to let the sound blast through the Harmon Cardon sound system in my R500. Killer quality!! My 3 girls love it!
F.Y.I.
First of all, your DVD entertainment is superb & awesome for your R500. First I would like to know what brand and did you buy thru the website. Secondly, how did you connect your 2 DVD players. Thanks.

I have the MB factory DVD in my ML. They discountinued this kit in 2003 so it wasn't even an option for the 04 and 05 MLs. We had problems with it at first but they finally got it working right and it has performed without issue for 2+ years now. It is such a great feature for the kids. The ML kit was produced my another company and installed at the dealer. they were selling the kits with free dealer installation at the end of 2002. it ended up costing me around $1700 which was a great deal at the time.
