RE: Is this based on the Chrysler Pacifica?

I would say that the Pacifica is based on the GST, much like the Crossfire is based on the SLK.

It is DaimlerChrysler after all[:D]

RE: Is this based on the Chrysler Pacifica?

No, the R-Class has nothing to do with the Pacifica other than the overall body form factor.

The GST/R-Class is based on the W164 M-Class.

RE: Is this based on the Chrysler Pacifica?

The 2005 Chrylser 300 and the 05 Dodge Magnum won't hurt MB's image at all. It would if the E class was based on a Chrysler but it isn't.

The 300 and the Magnum might take away sales from MB but they will likely take sales away from BMW, Audi, and others.
