We bought the 2007 B180cdi in 2015 and I'm going around tarting it up a little - you know, fixing little things that will need to be done.
One thing is the retractable rear luggage apron locking tab on one side (left one as your facing forward).

I found these on ebay but they are a little over priced for my liking.....
here

Anyone got any suggestions where I can purchase one? If I have to buy 2 - so be it.

Alternative is to try to make something out of the remaining bit of one I have.

It depends on how much time you have on your hands...

I would check out the breaker/scrap yards for that part,..but they might only want to sell you the whole cover...so in the end you actually pay more..

You might have to "bite the bullet" and pay for those ebay parts..

Do you know if the dealer will sell you the one needed end piece..?

I managed to drill a hole through the broken "insert" end, fit an old 25mm piece of 2mm dia. rod (ex an old welding rod) in it, epoxy and a protective rubber tube on the sliding part.

All sweet - never to break again.

Thought about "reinforcing" the good side in the same way - but will wait for it to break and adopt the same procedure if need be.
