As posted in my friend's topic on the W201 section, I think it will be cool to have our own here... :p

I'll start then:

OEM trunk mat

Replaced the cupholder (comes with the whole bracket), the edge was peeled...

I had thought that Oris642 had visited Toronto and he had been vandalized :D

Maybe some more close up photos to see in inner workings of the dash.

Mercedes Benz policy of not working on aftermarket parts is hogwash, if you are paying them money to perform a task they should do it. It may invalidate the warranty for that particular area of the car but that is your choice.

The dealer I go to says they have had problems with aftermarket HID kits but it only effects the warranty if done improperly.

Yeah, they're pretty cool. For this week-end I plan to check my license plate holders and bolts. What about you guys?

For a true wintery feel you need fingers and toes so cold they can not move, and a few patches of pure white (regardless of your original skin colour) on your cheeks.:(

Scrooge said it best "Bah Humbug" 👍

Time to put on the Old Beach Boy and surfer songs and remember better times.:big laugh:

Nice holders!

Well I did not make it this week to change the bolts...
Instead, when entering the underground garage at my apartment building I pushed to hard into the sliding drawer in the center console to reach my key and managed to push them under the handrest...
Good thing that I have my WIS so I could find the instructions on how to reach under...

First off, from the rear I pulled off the little rubber mat (using the wedge) that covers the two T20 screws that hold the handrest.

Evrika!

Then I used a long T20 to pull them off...

And then the handrest just popped off (a slight push upwards is enough).

There I`ve found the wiring for the phone cradle...lol

Using one hook, I pulled my key off the hole behind the drawer... yay!

Is this really the cradle hook up?

There I`ve found the wiring for the phone cradle...lol

Is that really the cradle hook up? That would mean that your car was "pre-wired", right? This would maybe be an easier way of installing bluetooth and being able to use the stock phone function.

The rubber mat and screws back in...

...just like nothing happened...

Next on the list: updating the FIscon software...

It`s free here , (currently it`s FISCON Phone Firmware 1.83) I`ll use my netbook for this...
