B200 16 inch tire pressure question

Hello,

My 2008 B200 came with 17 inch/continental summer only tires. I have Snows mounted on 16 inch alloys and am wondering what is the manufacturer recommendation for tire pressure for front and rear for 16 inch tires. My door pillar only has the 17 inch tire pressures indicated.

Can anyone help??

TIA!!

Here are the figures quoted on my B (200 CDI)

....................Front......................... ...................Rear

16" wheels 2.0 Bar 29 PSI....................2.0 Bar 29 PSI Unladen

16" wheels 2.2 Bar 32 PSI....................2.6 Bar 38 PSI Laden

17" wheels 2.5 Bar 36 PSI....................2.5 Bar 36 PSI Unladen

17 wheels 2.5 Bar 36 PSI.....................2.6 Bar 38 PSI Laden

18" wheels are the same pressures as the 17" ones

Here is a photo of my sticker... I never noticed until today that it only listed 16in tires for a Turbo.

Surprising the discrepecies over the models front is the same unladen but load up and the figures are quite different. The CDI is 100kg heavier than the 200 petrol but most of this must be over the front so why the large difference in the laden rears ?

I have both stickers in my car. Derek's sticker inside the fuel filler door and something similar to emeSAP43's sticker at the base of the B pillar on the driver side door. however, the latter sticker has the 17" listings as well.

I found having both stickers odd, because I have 17's on my car and one of the 2 only listed 16" and when I found the other one, the specs were different between the 2. Which one do I follow when I switch to 16's for winter?

Thanks for reminding me of the sticker on the fuel filler door. I just checked and the specs are the same as on the door.

Of course you would be perfectly safe following the 16" pressure recommendations.
Playing with a few pounds of pressure "equally" on all 4 is a good way to get a feel for what you like best.
