I'm fancing with the idea of buying a nice German Fiscon kit I found at kufatec.de

FISCON Bluetooth Handsfree - "Basic" - Mercedes - B-Klasse W245

The problem is if the dealer would enable the phone function for me and/or where in Toronto somebody can do it as indicated in their manual:

Yay! Got my NO PHONE cluster function activated by a polish guy (Jarek) who does chiptuning (including for B200 for $500) in Oakville, for $60 and 15 minutes of my life... next... pay off some credit cards so I can get the FISCON version 1.

Personally I prefer German products, shipped from Germany not Atlanta Georgia or anywhere else... and beside a higher price than the German technology (293,28 EUR for the unit, 59,00 EUR shipping by FedEx to Canada, Total: 352,28 EUR, approx $541.72 canadian) and easy plug and play installation, what does the iTronic have, compared with the Fiscon? A star spangled banner on the box? I don't buy that. I have the maple leaf here.

The unit is plug and play, cost $389 US. Maybe next time you can read up on it instead of shooting. Just trying to help you out. To each his own

With our dollar rising so fast US imports are good value

I bought some parts from the local dealer and could find no Maple Leaf on the package

I think most electronic audio devices come from Asia regardless of the packaging.

Actually, it has been commented by other that the iTronic originates from England.

I ordered one last week; it's on the way : )

Will post pictures of install.
