Looks very nice but like Keith I wonder why the parking sensors are not factory installed. It seems like a major job to install and would be easier at the factory. Unless the Germans will not admit to having problem parking.
the chrome strip does look good, better than some of the black rubber installed on some cars.

Perhaps, Bill, it's a case of " Ve haf vays of making you park"
I am really peeved that I was just to far away (whilst on holiday) to visit the M/B museum this year.
Cheeky the only problem I have with mine is that you sometimes get a false permanent buzz ( the "close as you should get" signal) if the sensor has water or ice on it or if it gets a bit mucky. Does anyone else suffer from this problem. Mine are aftermarket ones not supplied by M/B.
As a matter of interest although the standard bumpers are marked where the sensors should go (on the inside of the bumper), I think that the cars with them ordered as prefitted may have a slightly different bumper as the sensors on some I have seen seem to have a recess in the bumper in order that the sensor fits more snugly into the bumper. I have noticed this effect on second hand bumpers on Ebay.
Perhaps someone with the sensors fitted from the factory could confirm this.
The chrome strip on the top of the bumper is standard equipment on the facelifted B. The factory option parking sensors is the new automatic parking which steers the car into street parking spaces for you - bit risky IMO, a lot cheaper to go aftermarket and no worries about the car scraping its own wheels or anything!
In the UK we need parking sensors as our spaces are small - they are not designed for trucks and huge sedan cars like in North America!
I am very pleased with the 150 engine. I had been driving a 180CDI auto and TBH around town the 150 doesn't seem far off. You do notice having less power on the highway though, and the lack of a 6th gear means worse economy at higher speeds too. At 80mph in Europe, was getting 30-ish mpg, in UK at 70mph on the highway, getting 32mpg or so, but should increase after 2000-3000 miles I expect. I can't believe how quiet and smooth the ride is - especially with an 8valve engine!
The dealer has promised me that they will keep the transit plates for me to keep, so hopefully they will not go missing before I go to collect tommorow! I was expecting them to be sent back to the factory or something anyway, so will not be too disappointed but it will be nice if I get to keep them.
The glass roof is lovely - it is the fixed panel. I drove through London when coming home, amazing to look up and see tall buildings towering around the car. In cold weather (freezing fog, -2degC in France) we seemed to be losing a lot of heat through the roof panel though, but the integrated roller blind helps. As it covers where the rear interior light should be, the rear passenger grab handles have an integrated switched map-reading light.
I collect my B180CDI cirrus white about three weeks ego.
Chrome strip on top of bumper in Poland is part of chrome package.
Park assist of course can park your car itself but you still have sensors and displays (front and back). I think that is better than aftermarket. Usually I use it as normal sensors - park assist will help my wife.
Welcome to the forum WojciechT it's nice to have more members from this side of the pond. Glad your pleased with your new motor. Don't forget to post some photos for us.
I've just read in Top Gear about the facelifted B 200 CDI and they were not kind at all. They said the diesel engine is coarse, noisy, rough and it makes the pedals, steering wheel and floor vibrate annoyingly when driving. They said the NVH (noise/vibration/harshness) is unbelievable for a M-B.
I find the B 200 petrol a bit less smooth than my Peugeots, but not unacceptable with regards to NVH.
