We have told you before come to Canada if you like lakes and mtns. Lakes big enough to swallow most European countries (not Russia) and mountains for everyone. We need more tourists full of pounds and euros
The Red Cross in BC lends out everything you may need (small donation) and one of my friends volunteers part time at the local office. When my wife came from hospital this year he made sure everything was brand new, so you have no excuses
Look at the money you would save traveling in Canada. For example a good fish and chip dinner at an ocean side restaurant costs about $10 (tip is not added to the bill ) Canadian and the waiters/waitresses are all friendly.
The trouble is getting all the required mobilty gear over for that type of trip
