Need your help in my choice

Hello guys,

This is my situation: My gilrfriend and I have to change our first car soon... And we are unable to decide between a B200 full equip and a Mini Cooper full equip.

We are in end of 20's (age) and have no kid. Both cars have things that we like and we are just confuse... We have a good deal on the B200 too, but for gaz, she drinks more than a Mini... So, any one can help us in our choice?

Are we too young like some of our friends said to get a B200?

We have to take our decision for next week.

Thank you so much!

Sebastien

You have narrowed your choice down to two of my favorite cars.
If you do not need more space now - and will not need more space in the future, then I would get a Mini. Mini = fun and performance.
If however, you need or want more space and functionality, then the B would be a good choice. B = space and practicality.

Tough choice - but you won't go wrong with either car.

Beeclass summarized it ... since we were thinking long term we decided to go with the B class. Actually I'm very happy we did since my wife is expecting a baby in 3 weeks .. I CAN'T imagine myself in a mini.

Ho, and I also like the higher position in the B200

BTW, I'm 32yo.

The cars are totally different. One has a Peugeot/BMW engine and one doesn't....one is tiny and one is large....it's like comparing a smart and a BMW 330i, a very strange choice of two very different vehicles, I think.

If I were you I would consider some sort of a cabriolet, like a VW EOS. You only live once, so they say, so have some fun in the sun when you are young!

To me the B200 also equates to a unique safety design - the sandwich platform.
My wife is also preggoes.

Thank you guys for the answers,

Doesn't help me that much than!!!

I know that it's two differents kind of car but I go with my budget... I have a really good deal w Mercedes wich I was not expected... It's a bit less than a Mini but w the gas and the 1000$ cash back from government, it comes approximatly the same...

For sure, it's great to drive a Mini but at the same time, I find it crazy to say no to a Mercedes, even if it's a B Class... A MERCEDES!!!

And on a mid term, like in a year, maybe some regrets...

Something surprised me so: I red in the Annual Book 2008 that in winter, the Mini is better than a B200??? Wird!

Ayoye! So tough to make a choice! Anything else after words that can help me???

If you commute or like to drive on holidays the B is a better choice. We chose the B because we like to drive small cars and the B is one of the more comfortable small cars. Also in Montreal do you want to crawl into a car parked in salt and slush??? But you only live once

But see which car the girlfriend likes best before deciding
With age doth come great wisdom

Hello everyone,

I made my choice this morning and I go with the B200. Yahou!!!

I took it with the sport package.

My new question is: Is the bluetooth on the B200 is a good purchase (±300$) and should I think to take more options?

Waiting for your reply.

A new B200 happy owner!!!

Sebastien - Félicitations!

Did you order a 2009 or are you taking a 2008 out of remaining stock? I ask b/c I think that Bluetooth is standard on the 2009... (but of course I could be wrong!). Also - turbo or non turbo? I would have liked the sport package myself, but could not convince my wife

Either way, I'm sure you will love the car. Mine is coming very soon... can't wait!

Thank you mister Brad!

You're right, it's standard for the 2009 but I took the 2008 because the good deal! So, do you think that the bluetooth is a good option for 300$?

And it's a non turbo, question of gaz price (I drive a lot)...

I will have it at the end of the week... Can't wait either!

I'm so excited!!!
