Hi maxillo & welcome to the forum. Although the first service as Mike says is 20,000 km it appears that there is also a time limit as well which is a year, so if you only do low mileage as I have done this year ( 8,000) you have to have a service irrespective of the mileage. So it is 20,000 miles or 1 years ownership whichever comes first. With 15,000 km or yearly (again whichever comes first) afterwards. A nice little earner for M/B
Hi Maxillo, and welcome to our merry group! Where are you from?? Profile??
The service booklet does explain what gets changed as time and distance pass. ie: combination filter and pollen at 40,000 km
engine air filter at 80,000 km
spark plugs at 60,000 km for reg B 200 etc. and more info is in there.
The dealer may change that a bit but it's mostly spelled out.
My 2008 B has just told me that my A service is now due - I have 11,000 km.
I am in Montreal - any idea how much they are going to get out of me?
Which dealers are the worst in Montreal? So far, I have only ever been to West Island and they seemed reasonable, although when I got the car back after having had the brakes lubed, the "brakes worn out" message on the computer was on so I had to take it back and get a rental, which they paid for (a worn-out Pontiac p.o.s.). They also wash it but do not do the interior.
