to nest18 for the part number and ecmiyake for the shop. Bought the cable and installed it. The install looks OEM but looks differeny from ecmiyake's pic.

I have no idea as I don't even have a mp3 player yet. Any suggestion? Bestbuy has a Sony 8GB mp3 on sale for $99 two weeks ago.

Some questions. Do I need to turn on the mp3 player before connecting to the AUX in order to play it? Do I then press CDC? Can I scroll song by using the control on the steering wheel or seek button on the stereo? Will it continue where it stops the next time power is on? Here is the install in the glove box.

It will be solely operated off the MP3 unit's screen, not your car's own audio controls. I think the CDC button will put the stereo into AUX, it does for the OEM iPod kit.

That's the one you need.

I'm not a big fan of retractable wire cause they are usually more prone to failure. Non-retractable cable are 10$ MAX !

If you buy an iPod, don't forget to turn sound check off.

Does anyone have the AUX input cable jack outside the glove box? If so where is it? I should have a cable soon and I’d like to have access to the iPod with out opening the glove box or squishing the cable.
