Hey look what I saw today parked a few spots from my B this early evening in Anaheim. I don't know who was driving it, when we came out of the restaurant it was there. The sun was blinding so the pictures are a bit washed out. The VIN was blacked out.
Another EU import? This time with parking sensors and chrome wheels. Is that a regular California plate? Why is the VIN blacked out? On purpose? It could be a fake decal. I think I saw some pic of B CDI has a "square" shape exhaust tip. The one in the pic looks oval. Can you able to tell if the car is a CDI or not just by looking at the car? Is that a B170 or B200?
The wheels are very interesting....and the Euro mirrors.... and a blanked out VIN?? Call the cops!!
As Shultz would say..." Veerrryy Inteerresttiinng !!"
Where is inspector Clouseau when we need him??

It’s a B200. I looked for the VIN in the front window but the cut out area of the black space at the bottom was also black. I could make out were the VIN should be but that was about it. It has manufactures plates just like the turbo version that shows up at the Laguna Niguel dealership. Wheels were kind of nice. I could see where the driver had curbed one so the chrome was peeling off in a small spot and the tire was scuffed. There was some kind of sticker on the lower right front windscreen that I couldn’t make out. I thought that it was written in German. Rather austere interior.
Who ever drove this car had to have walked past mine to get to the stairs to get out of the structure as we were on the 2nd floor.
This place is near Disneyland and the car had a local hotel parking tag hanging from the rear view mirror. So if you happen to be the one driving this car log on and talk to us!
I suppose that might happen when hell freezes over...
