So, my question now is. . . since we are just about to take the plunge and order our first B, would it be better for us to wait until the 'new' B arrives? Does anyone have any details on the extent of the updating on the current B? More importantly, does anyone have any info as to when the 'new' B will be coming to Canada?
Guy's, from yesterday's UK press, revised B Class to have improved engines for better exhaust emissions. It also mentioned stop/start function, but I did read the article properly.

I second that. The "new" front bumper looks like a dropped long month face.. kinda like the big grille that extends to the bottom on the Audi's. I also like the current rear bumper better.
Thanks Robert,
That's a great and very high tech engine.
For is size(2143cc), it's very powerful and just a tad bigger than our B 200.
What about the maintenance? What about the longevity?
Any engine that has components that revolve at 248,000 rpm some of the time would make me worry about the repair costs down the road.
Would it fit in the B?
It's configuration seems to be transverse to our B engine.
The turbo technology alone is amazing and somewhat difficult to follow.
I wonder if Bill or anyone else could help us out here?
