Derek, you must post some summer pictures to offset these lest our European friends wonder why anyone lives here! I bet your spot is lovely in summer (how are the bugs?).

Summer............I remember when.........summer is so far away!!
The flowers in the front are only under 10 feet of snow, but the back are under more than 13 feet of compressed snow.
When will we ever see them?

Thanks Robert,
My eyes are watering too. I sold it after 35 years.
I just wasn't driving it. Original paint except for the youthful addition in 1970 while on a California trip.
Hand made stainless exhaust just out of that pic. It was so much fun!!

The new owner came up from Moncton 2 years ago.
Cheers, Derek

The decorated sides look like where you got the idea for your avatar

I thought up the idea of " Keep On Buggin" and had the cartoonist "Moss" paint it on the sides at the same time as he did the "crazy lines"and pin-striping. Lots of fun in LA in 1970 on my first California trip.

Derek,
In keeping with the VW Bug's age of Flower Power, did you also have a bumper sticker?

Let's see... something like " Gardeners do it in flower beds."

You mean like... Pilots do it higher!...or...Divers do it deeper!!
Lots of fun but no bumper stickers.
Lots of "ram air conditioning" with the small front vent windows....I still miss those vent windows.
Cheers, Derek
