I have been offered a 2008 B Class with 3k on it at a Toronto Dealer..

AUTOTRONIC continuously variable transmission,
B200 Premium Package,
B200 Sport Package
Winter rims/tires for 28K + tax cash price???

what do you think???

Car is for my wife, I am torn between a Civic and this..

It seems you are getting a reduction of over $ 5000 from the list price.
If the car is an acceptable colour, no accidents and a recent in- service date
(warranty) then this seems like a very good deal to me.

What is the exterior and interior color? I assume it is a non-turbo? B200 Premium Package costs $1,200 and Sport Package is $1,500. That's $2,700 of savings there. Plus you get Winter rims/tires. I assume it is steel cover rim? If yes, you also get the 10-stoke sport rim and ARTICO leather3/Fabric Upholstery. It is a very good deal imo.

Sounds OK to me too; the rims and tires are likely in the $1200-1500 range. Make them throw in a set of hubcaps for the winters.

Why would a 3000 km car be for sale already, anyway?

Could be a demo - or someone simply did not like the car and could afford to sell or trade up etc.
Also, in calculating the savings over the new price, don't forget the cost of the CVT, metallic paint ( if it has it ) and then add the PST + 5% GST on the difference - that you are not paying.
