Yes great fun (and problems) I cut my teeth on the original Mini, you can't call yourself a mechanic until you can change that by-pass hose on a country road in the dark, And rusty rear subframes !!! no don't get me started

Course I was talking of the new Mini. I have never driven the old one but I am sure it was a hoot. The new one is OK, not as special as they let on once you've owned it a few months and realize the car is lacking.

but I heard that the new mini clubman has the brit-aussie-japanese (those driving on the wrong side !!) teeth grinding because of the weird layout of back door. Which force the people sitting in the back to leave the car on the middle of the street.
Yes it's gone down like a lead ballon with us driving on the right side of the road . Mind you the old one didn't even have a rear side door just the fronts & 2 opening doors at the back so I suppose it must be some improvement.
