What material is it made of? Is it a sticker like the rear bumper reflector? I worry about rusting because I see the bottom part of the chrome is cut to match the shape of the foglight. I also notice that it is sticking out a bit.
I am starting to like the three bar grille. That rim looks much nicer than the AMG one.
Mine are within the edge of the bumper and are both in the same position. I don't know what picture you are refering to to it sticking out on. One of my early photos they were just placed in position to see what they looked like (before I comitted myself to fit them)so that may appear to jut out a bit, but they are not forward now they are properly fixed.
They are made from a good quality Chromed Plastic and have quite a heavy feel. They are made the same as your round foglight surrounds which are also plastic. So there is no chance of rusting.
I am just not happy with the way they fit on (as supplied). I would recommend that either the dealer fits them but this will cost mega bucks in parts or labour or if you get them yourself and fit yourself you fit as I have stated above. You do get a small screw showing (just) but at least they won't fall off.

Please bring a shovel!!(if it's a winter visit)
Summer can be very pleasant as yours is, but winter can be harsh at times.

Gosh Derek, I'm looking at all that snow and thinking that that looks like helluva lot of fun, but at the same time that it must be a pain to shovel all that away! When I visit, I'll be sure to pick the winter season hands down!
I've heard summer can be nice, but that it only lasts a month?

Summer in some parts of Canada can last 5 - 6 weeks and with global warming we are shooting for 7 weeks. The photos Derek posted are from early summer.
