We were in Crete 24 years ago and spent some days in Iraklion. I want to return someday to insult the owners of Camping Malia to the east of that town....they stole my wife's passport in 1984. Say, does "The Curry Hut" restaurant still exist in Iraklion?
I remember driving to Phaistos in '84 in our French-registered Renault 5 with no air conditioning, it must have been 45 degrees, and a hot wind was blowing down that plain that runs east-west. Great memories.

Yes.. my rust is still visible!!! and will be forever as these guys have no intention to make these discs better...(!) And also yes i like snow but this year i saw snow only for one day!!

Yes, especially in Malia and Hersonissos there are some guys who only want to make money from tourists.. Also about this restaurant i haven't heard this name, but also i know very few restaurants here...And yes also.. summers here are VERY HOT thats why i regret that i bought a black mercedes... i should have taken the white one! Hope to have you again here in 2012 and all of us (you guys here and your families also...) be in the same shape and health like we are now...(wish for good health!)
