Service C Next

I have 15000 Km on a B200 turbo and service screen show next service due is a Service "C". I have found directions on viewing services needed for almost every model but none for the B Class.

Does any one have a step by step instruction list to access the list of service due?

Also how to reset the screen after service completed?

The service indicator reset is described in the manual. Also the service categories (if you mean that) are described in the log book starting from A,B,C,D etc. and showing which parts are replaced, adjusted or checked..

Mine for instance with 4500Km and oil&filter replacement now shows Service D after 14500km. (before it was showing service A but probably they reset this because the car was 1 year old already)

Hi
The manual (Canada edition) does not show the reset, nor does it refer to service A, B, C etc. The service manual (log book ?) I have lists a number of services from 1....to 20 with different and overlapping time frames. I believe the service letters A to ? will show the service numbers needed.
Apparently MB does not trust Canadians to access all functions.

Neither does it appear in the UK manual

Has any one had any information written (or had the final inspection sticker stuck in page 29) in the Service Handbook from when the vehicle was new. My book is completely blank.

My 'Service Booklet' has the pre-inspection stamp and signature as required on page 4. On the required pages I've added my oil changes and other pertinent info as outlined on each servicing page. I wonder how the stealer will react when they see my additions, with my first official servicing approaching?

Thanks GSP 1

I'll try it on my car today if the rain stops. Hopefully MB has not disabled the function for the North American Market

Thumbs up

Very informative document George
Thanks for that. I have seen nothing like that in any of my books.
