Ours will have it, which I understand includes an interior motion sensor and towaway sensor, with two buttons on the console to disable/enable them independently.
If necessary, you should consider a GPS tracking device which also works with the cell phone network. In Canada we have Boomerang Tracking and the service covers North America and more. You receive a monthly report, showing all the relocated vehicles and very often they also find the chop shop with many more cars. It's quite amazing how many they find! If your car moves and you're not with it, the tracking is alerted along with the police. If theft is a problem, then this system can give you some piece of mind. I know there are similar services in the USA. Tell us what you find.

They really rake us over the coals on their options.1000$ was the price of the alarm option! It's funny how they find these nice round figures for some of their options. They probably didn't make huge money at the entrance level of the B200.(IMHO) But they want so badly to get it back. Every time we think of doing anything extra at the dealer, we're blown away by their price and that's why we're here on this forum. So many of our discussions revolve around MB's over pricing and finding a less expensive way. What a frustration!
So has anyone interested in adding the factory alarm system after delivery? Is it a factory only option? How sensitive is the alarm? How loud is it? Can someone record the sound of it and post it here?
So is that mean it is a factory only option. I want to add the wood trim but only to find out that it is a factory option only. It can't be installed after I have the car.
