Canadian B-Class -> how many?
As of October 1st, there will be 6017 B-Classes in Canada. Not bad, for about two years on the market! Of those, 56% are B 200s and 44% are B 200 Turbos.
I have calculated that 2% of total B-Class production has come to Canada so far.....

If anyone has a B on order, I can help you track it if you like....I won't post all the serial numbers here.....too much space.
VIN trivia: 1 in 49 B Class cars produced is coming to Canada....2.04% of total production, and rising slightly as time progresses......
There are 6353 B Classes either in Canada or en route here as of today.
I always compare this to the smart, which was selling at about the same rate in Canada...so I would say the B is a big success for Mercedes over here.

Interesting, why do you compare it to the Smart? Many people here in the States have heard of the Smart but not the B so they assume that because the B is small it must be like the Smart. After having driven a Smart I can say that there is no comparison so that is why I asked.
I hope you enjoy your B and are happy with it as I am with mine.

The way things are going, Derek, I'd rather be there than here. (mind you those winters sound a bit chilly)

The smart and the B are trolling in the same small car waters in Canada, hence the "similarity". I own one of each too
Mercedes imported the B here partly because they expected many smart clients to "upgrade" to a B.

Well Mike, I hope you allow me to disagree.
They are like comparing apples and oranges.
One has no interior space and the other has a ton of space! When I see them jammed in traffic, squeezed between two semi's, I cringe !!!
