I don't have my B 200 yet, but I noted that in the European brochures, the front passenger seat is listed as folding flat forward (this is not to be confused with the Easy Vario system, in which it is also removable).
Ckecked my (UK) front seat last night and it only goes forward about about 22.5 degrees from the vertical position. I think the fold flat seat is possibly an option as the standard seat (UK version) certainly does not.

Mine does, March 2006 production UK spec. with lumbar support option. How are you releasing the backrest?
Using the winder knob (mine hasn't got the lumbar support feature) mind you in my case it's academic as I have a non standard (Elap Mobility) passenger seat fitted anyway.
I fold the backrest by pulling the backrest release near the headrest on top of the seat. It operates as you would expect a "two door" backseat entry to work

Do the CDN cars have this feature?
Mike, You'd best check with the stealer and ask about this option, because my 06 does not fold forward and we now see the 08's coming with more freebee's. Derek
Please note that if you go for the sports seat you will not be able to fold the passenger even with the the Easy Vario system installed. The size of the side cushions makes the seats not compatible with that option.
