Outside Temperature Gauge

From seeing pictures on this forum and reading various threads, I'm trying to get the temperature gauge to display permanently, as a default, on the dashboard. I've tried unsucessfully to do this.

At present my display shows ther current time and which gear I'm driving in (CVT gearbox)

Is the temp. gauge supposed to display as default? If so how do you programme
it please??

Thanks

Ross.

Ross I think you'll find in the manual that it says that on UK versions the KPH figure is displayed instead of the temperature as default. This possibly is something to do with the EU requirement of having both an mph & kph display on a UK car for continental driving (this is what a dealer told me). I don't think our 'continental' members have to have this facility.

It is possible to choose if to show travelling speed OR outside temperature in the smaller display.
Go to the settings menu -> Instrument Cluster, and there you may choose wether to display the outside temp OR travelling speed (miles or KM - I am playing sometimes with the miles feature, it's showing the consumption by MPG which is interesting for us - which are familiar with the liters/100km method of consumption).
