Hi,
Yes. I've read on a german forum that it's possible to retrofit the cruisecontrol and speedlimiter. Two things need to be done, the control stalk needs to be fitted, and the computer needs to be told that the cruisecontrol is present.
Here's the bill with partnumbers.
18 AW.........................................96,30
A169 462 02 23 Verkleidung.......10,30
A169 540 33 45 Reparatursatz...10,52
A169 545 00 04 Schalter.............65,11
Q1230000 Kleinmaterial..............15,00
Endbetrag (inkl. MwSt.).............228,79 Euro's
Since installing the stalk involves removing the airbag I recommend that this is done by qualified mechanics......
More info in German:

Good luck !!!

I think they probably meant standard on all auto models. I read somewhere that 90% of M/B are autos.

kdbcom, i guess you are right, they must have meant Autos
with the parts needed and the work to fit them, it sounds like it will cost a arm and a leg.

Yes, that is what I understand from the german forum. Makes sense, since the throttle is controlled via a fly-by-wire construction you basically only need the stalk and the adjustment in the computer.
My previous Audi was also pre-wired, it's often cheaper to retrofit the cruisecontrol than to order it from the factory.

It is very simple if done by a professional. I presume that 18AW is work units and the labour fee. It can be done in one hour.
