Just curious if anyone has found a good pressure for the tires, I've been using the recommended 30 psi (front) and 33 psi (rear), but I find my front tire squeal when cornering tight on certain pavement or easy of the line on hard acceleration. They seem to have a lot of tread left, It's kinda weird!
My car uses the 205 tyres standard on the B180CDI.
MB advises 2.0 bar front and rear, that would equal to 29 PSI. That provides a very smooth and silky ride, but the tyres squeal when turning and they have that empty look, they bulge at the bottom.
Last month after the car was serviced at the dealer they adjusted the tyres to 2.2 bar or 32 PSI. This still provides a good ride (somewhat less smooth) but stops squealing and bulging.
I have tried 2.4 or 35 PSI but that makes the car too bumpy.
My wintertyres (195 ones) are always at 32 PSI, since they have a softer body.

I guess that the tyre pressures will vary from model to model depending on tyre and wheel size. I just go by the guide on the inside of the fuel filler cap. This may also differ from country to country.
I'm currently running on 36 psi all round, with 215x45x17 tyres.
MY B recommends 29 & 29 normal and 30 & 33 at maximum load as per the gas cap. As you change rims and tyres, you have to adjust your pressure accordingly, and sometimes it's trial and error. With those super tyres and wheels, (like Sebl and others have) you now have to be so careful with potholes and just basic little curbs, and they do demand a lot of increased pressure just to protect those low sidewalls. But they do look beautiful. Cheers, Derek

I have just adjusted tyres to 35 PSI. Earlier they were 29 PSI and I wasnt happy with that ride. now the ride is a bit harder but considerably pleasanter. you feel more control over the car
