Question Why does MB make two different side mirror housing for different markets

Why does MB make two different side mirror housing for different markets? Personally I like the overseas version than the canadian version? The signal light on the canadian one doesn't look bright (noticeable I should say) in sunny day. At night time it still look dim. The light appears smaller than other class too. I am talking about the canadian B class version specifically. The viewing angle appears to be smaller too. The light is at the bottom of the housing rather than in the middle like all other classes. Why???

Canadian version

Overseas version

I've noticed this too. I think because the US-Canada mirrors are bigger. Isn't there a little disclaimer notice on the glass, that "objects in the mirror etc..." , 'cause we don't have that in Europe..

And perhaps because the lights in the mirror are also daytime lights and not just indicators ?

In the UK we don't have that orange reflector or light behind the chrome bumper strip either, I'm glad to say (but it is probably safer if you are easing out of a junction at night)

We don't have that either in the Netherlands. I think those are part of the daytime lights in america and canada.

You mean the side marker near the front bumper? I thought they are removed purposely to enhance the look.
