That's so true. In the downtown or west end, we see so many B's, it's a shame the US didn't pick up on this class of car.

I would not worry about it in CA or coastal BC, where I live. I passed a 1972 Toyota Corolla in excellent shape on the road last night, if you get my drift

If you do not plan to keep your B for a long time, then it probably won't be a problem.
But all the B's with the old design will eventually rust through at the front 2 points.
The water is 100% trapped in 2 low points as explained in the beginning of this post.
When you open the hood, the water drains out and drips on the headlight lens. It's a tricky fix, but very doable.
The rest of the body seems very well designed but the newer hoods have been redesigned because of this early goof-up.
