That's great news!
Could you post a pic. of one side of your hood(bonnet) from the inside showing that new drainage vent. Get close because it's quite small. "Keith's B of July 2007 does "not" have the newer hood vent"(now revised) that you say "is" on yours of March 2007.

Please post a pic. so I can confirm that we are looking at the right spot.

Here are my bonnet photos as promised

The car was built June-July 07 WDD2452082J22711?? (? Withheld for security reasons but in upper third of the numbers)

Hope information I gave on bonnet holes previouslywas correct

First Keith, you have the proper drain !!!!
Now Mike, yes you naturally have the extra drainage also!

You both will not have the problem of bonnet rustout! Isn't that great news!!

And now Keith, look closely at Mikes closeup showing that small drain. That's what's missing on all the earlier B's.

Mike, that was a great closeup pic of the drain. And now for 2006 and earlier 2007 B's go out and check for that little drain and let us know if you have it, and when your B was built.

There are quite a few changes on the inner bonnet stamping compared to mine.
Remember, I've had water pour out of that same spot because that drain wasn't there, on 06 B's. I don't like the fact that the new vent is so close to the edge of the bonnet.
You should semi-annually take a plastic ti-wrap, and poke in that vent to keep it from blocking up.

Is it that little raised moulded section in the middle right of Mikes photo.

If so I'm blowed if I saw that before.

As Derek says when was yours built & also possibly the vin number (but leave out the last couple of digits for security reasons) which would narrow it down to a build of 99 cars. I have given a clue in mine as to what part of the last 99 cars

Here is my 07 model. Factory ordered on July 06, arrived Sept 06. Do I have them? Looks like I have them but I am not sure. They don't look like drain line.. How do they look like?
